January 1, 2022, was a time of enormous national upheaval. The COVID-19 pandemic caused governments and corporations to take on unprecedented powers. When most lawyers nationwide were afraid to stand up for individuals and businesses whose rights under the United States Constitution and the laws were being trampled, Gwyneth K. Murray-Nolan and Ronald A. Berutti left their comfortable positions as equity partners in a “Big Law” firm and opened the doors of Murray-Nolan Berutti LLC. Gwyneth and Ron knew that fearless lawyers were almost non-existent when they were needed most, so they stepped into the

breach and took the fight to government and to big corporations. Gwyneth and Ron were already making national news for their lawsuits against New York Mayor DeBlasio’s vaccine mandate in New York City, and Governor Murphy’s mask mandate in New Jersey. But the comfort of Big Law did not suit the needs of the people who were most affected by the pandemic, so Gwyneth and Ron risked everything to bring their combined 50 years of litigation skills to their new practice. Together, they took on the fight of dozens of clients who were losing jobs, being thrown out of school, and who were otherwise suffering the effects of violations to their rights of free speech, religious liberty, parental rights, bodily autonomy, the right to keep and bear arms, and the right not to be discriminated against because of race, gender, religion and the application of the equal protection of law and due process.

Since opening its doors, Murray-Nolan Berutti LLC has become known for being unafraid, ethical, and creative in its pursuit of liberty and justice for all. Gwyneth and Ron have taken on mammoth corporations such as Blackrock; they have sued government agencies including the United States Federal Reserve Bank; and they have sued multiple school districts, universities, and medical providers. Gwyneth and Ron have fought for parents whose children were being secretly “transitioned” by school districts; they have sued to vindicate the rights of those who lost jobs due to refusal to take the COVID-19 shots; and they have been national leaders in filing lawsuits to end the unconstitutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices of numerous government agencies and corporations. Indeed, Gwyneth and Ron’s fight against Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion was the subject of feature articles written about them in the New Jersey Law Journal and the New York Law Journal, both of which recognized Murray-Nolan Berutti LLC for boldly taking on the most powerful of interests. 

But that is not all that Gwyneth and Ron do. They are also skilled insurance defense attorneys, business litigation specialists, and take on the most complex litigations which most attorneys have no idea how to handle.
